I was “blown away” by the story of Finders Keepers, a community art event in Lincoln City, Oregon. Each year from the middle of October to the end of May, 3,000 hand blown glass floats, all made by local artisans, are “hidden” on a 7 mile stretch of beach for you to find and treasure!
To celebrate Thanksgiving 2016 there is a “special drop date.” From November 24 – 27, 100 glass art ball/floats will be hidden (in plain sight) just waiting to be discovered.
So walk or run to the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon and work off those extra calories!
Finders Keepers is one of Lincoln City’s defining events where you can find treasures on our seven mile stretch of beach from Roads End to Siletz Bay. Ever year from mid-October through Memorial Day we drop nearly 3,000 handcrafted glass floats made by local artisans for you to find and keep! read more at oregoncoast.org
