Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw this story in the Siberian Times. Yes, Virginia, there is a new sea glass beach and it's in Russia! It's called Glass Bay and is about a 30 minute drive from Vladivostock in the "Russian Far East," on the Pacific side of the country. Truck loads of glass bottles and trash from a nearby porcelain factory were dumped in the ocean at Ussuri Bay and have been transformed into our adored gems of the sea.
